Simar DS Bolus (Vet) belongs to 3rd generation Fluroquinolone with broad spectrum bactericidal antimicrobial activity towards gram positive, gram negative bacteria and mycoplasma.

Simar DS Bolus (Vet) is a bactericidal drug, actively killing bacteria by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and the Topoisomerase Type-IV enzyme, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and transcription.

Simar DS Bolus (Vet) is indicated for the treatment of following diseases caused by both gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasma. • Diarrhoea and gastro-enteritis

• Severe respiratory infections

• Neonatal gastro-enteritis caused by Escherichia coli

• Acute Mastitis

The recommended dose is 1-2 mg/kg/day for 3 consecutive days. Dairy- 1 bolus/100 kg body weight for 3 consecutive days. Dog & Cat- 1 bolus/36 kg body weight (2.75 mg/kg body weight) for 3 consecutive days.

Rare Side Effects: A greenish retroceding coloring of faeces at the end of treatment has been shown sometimes

Simar DS Bolus (Vet) is not recommended for use in animals with known hypersensitivity to Marbofloxacin & in case of resistant bacteria to other Fluroquinolones.

Simar DS Bolus (Vet) may be used safely during pregnancy and lactation.

After using Simar DS Bolus (Vet) meat should not be eaten for 06 days & milk for 36 hours

Store at a temperature below 300 C, protected from light & keep in dry place. Keep all medicine out of reach of children. To be disbursed as per prescription of registered Veterinarian only. Don’t use the medicine more than prescribed amount. Complete the full course as advised by the Veterinarian
