GND-100 Injection (Vet) is the gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) which is produced by the hypothalamus and causes the release of the gonadotropin luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) from the anterior pituitary

The active compound of GND-100 Injection (Vet) is gonadorelin, a deca-peptide identical to the natural Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH). Therefore GND-100 Injection (Vet) has exactly the same action as endogenous GnRH. It controls the production and secretion of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) by the pituitary gland. GND-100 Injection (Vet) causes simultaneous release of LH and FSH has a direct effect on the ovary. FSH stimulates follicle development and LH induces ovulation and luteinization

Cystic ovarian disease: Both follicular and luteal cysts will respond to treatment with GND-100 Injection (Vet). The cysts ovulate or luteinize further to develop into a corpus luteum. In 18 – 23 days most animals return to oestrus and can be inseminated. The conception rate at this first insemination is normal. Improvement of fertility/ Repeat breeding: Although clinically normal, a number of animals require 3 or more inseminations for conception. This problem is called repeat breeding. To improve the conception rate GND-100 Injection (Vet) can be administered at the time of insemination or at mid cycle (11 – 14 days post oestrus) Improvement of fertility in post partum: GND-100 Injection (Vet) administered in the early post – partum period (15 – 40 days post – partum) stimulates the resumption of physiological oestrous cycles, reduces the incidence of cystic ovarian disease and shortens the interval of calving to first oestrus.

For cystic ovarian disease 5 ml as a single intramuscular injection (IM injection). For Improvement of fertility/Improvement of conception rate/Repeat breeding 2.5 – 5 ml as a single intramuscular injection (IM injection). For improvement of fertility in post partum 1 – 2.5 ml as a single intramuscular injection (IM injection)

Store at a temperature between (2-8)º C in a dark, foost free location. Keep all medicines out of reach of children
