Meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of oxicam family. It acts by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, thereby exerting anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative, analgesic and antipyretic properties. Meloxicam has anti-endotoxic properties too. Paracetamol is an antipyretic agent. It reduces fever by depressing the heat regulatory centers in the hypothalamus. 

It is indicated in inflammation, pain, fever, lameness, dehorning & castration. It is also used as supportive therapy in acute respiratory infections, diarrhoea, acute mastitis etc.

Route of Administration: For intramuscular/subcutaneous/intravenous administration.
Cattle, Buffalo, Goat & Sheep: 1 ml/10 kg body weight (0.5 mg/kg).
Dog: 1 ml/25 kg body weight (0.2 mg/kg).
Or as directed by the registered Veterinarian.

Common Side effects: A slight transient swelling at the injection site following SC injection may be seen.
Rare side effects: Prolong use may cause gastrointestinal lesions, inappetence, vomiting and diarrhoea. 

Do not administer concurrently with steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (SAID) & other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). 

Contra-indication Animals hypersensitive to Meloxicam, Paracetamol or those have kidney, liver & cardiac problem. 

Not recommended for use in pregnant or lactating animals. 

Meat: 15 days & Milk: 5 days.

With medicine: May cause increased likelihood of bleeding if use in conjunction with Corticosteroids, Heparin, Warfarin, Aspirin, Flunixin & Phenylbutazone.
With feed & others: Not known. 

To be dispensed & sold only by the prescription of a registered Veterinarian & should not be used more than the mentioned amount in the prescription. Fulfill the course of antibiotics according to the advice of the registered Veterinarian.

Store below 30ºC temperature & dry place, protected from light.
Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
