Each bolus contains Paracetamol BP 2000 mg.
- Mode of action

Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic effect. It produces analgesia by elevation of pain threshold and antipyretic action on the hypothalamic heat regulating center. These effects are thought to be related to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
- Indications
-
It reduces fever, pain (earache, body ache, neuralgia, pain due to intestinal inflammation, rheumatoid fever, post vaccination pain, post-delivery pain, post-operative pain) and tissue swollen resulting from trauma, injury, burn or any other infectious diseases of both animal & poultry.
- Dosage Administration
-
Route of Administration: For oral use only.
Livestock: 1 bolus/130-140 kg body weight (15 mg/kg body weight) thrice daily for 3 days.
Poultry: 1 bolus/10 litre of drinking water and administered 2-3 times daily for 4-5 days.
Or as directed by the registered Veterinarian.

Common Side effects: Hematological reactions have been reported. Pancreatitis, skin rashes and other allergic reactions may occur occasionally.

- Precautions

Avoid use in dehydrated, hypovolemic or hypotensive patients and concurrent administration of potentially nephrotoxic drugs.
- Contraindications

The drug is contraindicated where there is possibility of gastro intestinal ulceration or bleeding and animals hypersensitive to paracetamol. Cats are extremely sensitive to paracetamol toxicity.

It is safe in all stages of pregnancy and lactation.

- Drug Interaction

With medicine: Do not administer with NSAIDs and nephrotoxic drugs.
With feed and others: Not known.

Store below 30ºC temperature & dry place, protected from light.
