Tilmicosin Phosphate binding with 50S bacterial ribosomal subunit and inhibits protein synthesis. They are typically regarded as being bacteriostatic, but at high concentration can be bactericidal. When administered orally tilmicosin is rapidly absorbed and slowly eliminated from the body. Tilmicosin distributes rapidly to the target lung tissues as early as 6 hours and peaks within 5 days after the commencement of treatment.

For the treatment of diseases caused by pathogens susceptible to Tilmicosin 
Poultry: Mycoplasmosis (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae), CRD & CCRD.
Dairy: Pasteurellosis (Pasteurella multocida), Pleuropneumonia (Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae) & Mycoplasmal pneumonia (Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae).

Route of Administration: For oral administration only.
Poultry: 1 ml/3 ltr. of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Dairy: 1 ml/20 kg body weight for 3-5 days.
Or as directed by the registered Veterinarian.

Common side effects: Occasionally, a transient reduction in water or (artificial) milk intake has been observed upon treatment with Tilmicosin.
Rare side effects: Not Known.

Do not use in horses and other equines access to drinking water containing Tilmicosin.

Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to tilmicosin.

Risk and necessity should be considered in pregnant and lactating animals/birds.

Meat- 7 days & Egg- 1 day.

With medicine: Concurrent use of other macrolides and lincosamides is contraindicated.
With feed & others: Not known.

To be dispensed & sold only by the prescription of a registered Veterinarian & should not be used more than the mentioned amount in the prescription. Fulfill the course of antibiotics according to the advice of the registered Veterinarian.

Store below 30ºC temperature & dry place, protected from light.
Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
